Zero Allocation Issue: Forum Writes LG Chairman To Account For Federal Allocation Collected

Nigeria, Ogun State - A non-political group, Yewa North Patriotic Forum, YNPF, has written a letter to the Executive Chairman Yewa North Local Government Council, in Ogun State, Hon. Gabriel Ogunyomi to give account of Federal Allocations collected so far by the local government. 

The forum in a letter entitled: "Request For Accountability On Federal Allocation For Our Local Government" signed by Damilola Elegbede, Vice President II and addressed to the Executive Chairman, premised their demand on revelation by Hon. Wale Adedayo, who recently informed the public that funds meant for local governments in Ogun State were sat on and diverted by the Governor of Ogun State, the publication of which you and the rest nineteen (19) chairmen of local governments have debunked as lie and you were all seen in a trending video  prostrating for the governor in an "Ewole fagba" video. 

The letter reads, "I am compelled to write this letter to you, following the revelation by one of your colleagues, chairman, Hon. Wale Adedayo, who recently informed the public that funds meant for local governments in Ogun State were sat on and diverted by the Governor of Ogun State, the publication of which you and the rest nineteen (19) chairmen of local governments have debunked as lie and you were all seen in a trending video  prostrating for the governor in an "Ewole fagba" video. 

"We, members of Yewa North Patriotic Forum have waited tirelessly for your response to the letter by Hon. Wale Adedayo, except for the prostration to the Governor which have brought shame, ridicule to the people of Yewa North local government. 

"We are hereby giving you forty eight (48) hours to make public all money received from the federation account from July 2021, you assumed the office till now and all what the money have been spent on. 

"If the ample forty eight (48) hours notice for our response is not complied with, we shall mobilize the good people of the local government to your office in a peaceful protest".
