Nigeria - The chairman of Senate Committee on Appropriation, Senator Solomon Adeola (APC, Ogun West), has described Aremo Olusegun Osoba, a former governor of Ogun State and national leader in All Progressives Congress, APC as a role model in progressive politics as he celebrates his 84th Birthday.
Senator Adeola a.k.a Yayi in a statement issued in Abuja in celebration of the progressive leader by his Media Adviser, Chief Kayode Odunaro, stated that "For all of us that remained steadfast in the progressive fold of Nigeria politics, you are a role model to follow in your brand and style of politics and leadership acumen".
The Chairman of Senate Committee on Appropriation said he is proud of the great contributions of Chief Osoba to the socio-political and economic development of Nigeria in the area of journalism, the struggle for enthronment of democracy and good governance adding that his recent role in Yoruba Unity and National politics was contributory to the emergence and election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the 16th president of Nigeria.
"As you celebrate the age of 84 years on earth, our prayers is for you to have many more years in good health and more wisdom that comes with age to continue to impact on the society as you recently demonstrated in the affairs of the Nation", Senator Adeola stated.
