Obasanjo visits Nigeria House, London, commends Ambassador Isola over Commission's facelift

London - Former President of Nigeria Chief Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo PhD, during his recent visit to the Nigeria House in London, while on his way back from a Caribbean country, commended the Nigeria High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, His Excellency, Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Isola OFR and the entire staff of the Commission over what he saw at the Commission.

He was received by the Ambassador, some senior diplomats, the defence attaché and some other staff at the High commission.
The former Nigeria President, who was elated about what he saw as Nigeria House, wrote in the visitors book, "Nice to be here again and to see the face lift that has been given to the Nigeria House, the High Commission. We appreciate the good work that the High Commissioner and the entire staff of the High Commission are doing for Nigeria, here in the UK......".
The High Commissioner in his short remark at the brief reception for former President after welcoming the august visitor said, "I’m wearing three caps, that of a son, mentee and as Ambassador".
Obasanjo, after the short visit as usual of him, posed with a few Nigerians who sighted him outside the face lifted Nigerian House building.
First, was a cab driver, who quickly parked on the side road, and asked for a selfie on sighting him and the ambassador.
He went back to his cab, smiling and saying he just couldn’t let the opportunity pass him by.
OBJ also had picture with some Nigerians who were in the Commission complex for their passport. He even told one of them in Yoruba, "gba mi mu, gba mi mu", means "hold me, hold me".
