Ekiti 2023 Paramilitary Games: Ekiti Police team emerges overall winner with 28 medals

Nigeria - The Ekiti State Commissioner of Police CP Ogundare Dare psc(+), fiips, has congratulated the Ekiti State Police Command team for emerging the overall best and medals table leader in the just concluded Ekiti State paramilitary Game 2023.
The Command contingent, according to its spokesperson, DSP Abutu Sunday, out of the 26 games made available for the tournament, won 16 gold medals, 9 silver medals and 3 bronze medals to be crowned the best team of this year's tournament.
One PC Ojo Kehinde, during the tournament, broke the National record of 20.2 after throwing 22.6 in female Shot Put game, while corporal Oloruntoba Babalola threw 73.5 in men Discuss Game to break the National Record of 67.80.
Sunday revealed that Ekiti State Police team won at least a medal in all the games available during the tournament except in Judo, Draft and Football.
The Commissioner of Police, Dare, while commending the leadership and the entire contingent for thier incredible achievement, tasked them to ensure greater successes and achievements in the subsequent tournaments.
